Crafts - Paperback Roses

Hi everyone - hope this post finds you all well. Today is a quick post with some paperback roses that I have made. I have seen these a few times on other blogs and decided to take the plunge and make them. WOW - So easy. I changed mine slightly by inking the edges....

All you need is an old paperback that you have read (or you can buy a cheap one) a scalloped circle punch or nestabilities would work too, a brad and some Ranger Distress Ink. I used the Antique linen colour.

Punch or cut 5 scalloped circles. Place them ontop of each other - the edges do not have to align. Punch a hole in the centre and insert the brad. Take the first circle and scrunch it up into the center. Do the same with the next 3 circles, then open up the paper to form petals. Take your distress ink and lightly ink the petal edges. Step back and admire your efforts!!
