A few things I have been up to......

Ok - so my long lunch was a trip to the moon and back. I am hoping I am back to stay - well until our new little angel keeps me busy early Jan!

 1st Birthday card for Micaela- when I have the odd few minutes I try to colour in some images so I have them on had for quick cards. As you can see - very simple, just layered with some torn scrapbook paper, mounted on foam tape and finished with 2 plastic mosaics and a sticker. Chipboard M completes this simple and quick card.

Matthew (my cute Godson) 2nd birthday. He is an energetic red-head and a future Springbok. This image captures his energy and love of adventure. I am finally using my stash of stickers - always handy for quick embelishments!

Ok - so hubby has just fumbled down the hall to see why I m not in bed......how do you explain restless legs and no matter which position I lie in, I can't get comfortable.......oh and tha fact that I can't breathe due to blocked nose. The joys of pregnancy!

Out to lunch....a long one

Hi there. I have been gone longer than I anticipated! I went back to work in Feb and I really don't know where the time has gone. Work has me involved in much longer hours than originally expected, so my life of crafting has gone from little to ZERO. The only creations I have been up to are some cake orders. I did however manage to go to card class in March and April and will download some pics soon.
We have finally got our computer back - it decided to crash (along with the fridge) and YAY I can access the internet again (not as good or easy with my mobile!)
Chili pip - YIP I know - I need to post some more cards! Problem is I did not even get to make Thank you cards for my Birthday presents in March. Please bare with me and I hope to have some creations up soon.

Cake Decorating - Micaela's Christening cake

O's Godfather is a proud Dad to a miracle little girl called Micaela. Today she was welcomed into our Church community. To honour this special occasion, Micaela's mom asked me to make a simple cake in pink and white...something with booties.  Below is the cake, but I did not get a chance to make a card to go with her present. Hope to do that tomorrow - sorry fellow card makers...there has been little for you these past few posts. I do hope to get into my craft room this week now that Ollie is at creche in the mornings.....

Cake Decorating - Fire engine 2 birthday cake

Hi all - hope you all had a relaxing and safe festive season. Here's wishing you all a happy and creative new year.
I have spent a wonderful time with family and friends a had a few days break. I started off this year with a fun order for a two year old's birthday cake.  Mom wanted the cake shaped as a two, stars and a fire truck and gave me a pic to work with.....
This is what I came up with

I really had lot's of fun making this.  Feeling very inspired, but rather tired. I do hope to get some card making done soon....my craft room is missing me.....
